 LAKE WANAKA, New Zealand (September 1, 2008) – The Bahamian Snowboard Team will make its debut on the world stage this week at the first stop of the LG FIS Snowboard World Cup Halfpipe at Cardrona Alpine Resort on September 6 and 7.
Known more for its Caribbean culture than snowboarding, the tropical nation’s snowboarding team has just one member, Korath Wright, born and bred in the Bahamas but with many years spent growing up in Whistler, Canada. |

REELcomp.com has turned one year old and for its birthday it has received a complete makeover and a grip of new features for its users to enjoy. Along with its new design REELcomp is offering 4:3 and 16:9 uploading capabilities and videos that are transcoded in “HD-like” quality. The site has been re-designed with better navigation, additional video info for you to check out your favorite riders, production crews and even songs used in edits. An inter-user messaging system has been added to the site for users to keep in contact with their friends and network with other users. Forums were implemented for members to post their opinions and to discuss new places, filming techniques or even sell off old gear. REELcomp will be regularly putting users “IN FOCUS” which will give props to users that are uploading banger content to the site or just have a unique style. |
